Good wishes to all Turkish members on Zafer Bayram.  Does the fact that the day falls during Ramazan have an effect on celebrations?

Actually against Brits (indirectly). They wouldn´t invade Asia minor in the first place if they were not backed(and provoked) by English empire.

Thanks for showing us your level of history knowledge.

I would agree..Of course they were provoked by the British..

But british army did not fight there during that period..They used the Greeks for that.

There was no British soldiers died in Anatolia during 1919-1922.

Bizzarly, Churchil-the war minister at the time- was against Greek invation as he did not think they would win. Also their foreign minister Curzon did not like the idea of giving Izmir to Greeks either.

And dont mention it..

I could say you " The Atatürk is the one of the best leader in history of the world" honestly. He was a genius.
