Hi everybody, please could somebody translate the following please? I need to make a telephone call and need to know the correct ways to say::

´Hello is ... there please?

May I speak to...

When is the best time to call him?

Sorry to disturb you.

Please could you repeat that?

I wish you a nice afternoon/evening.´

These are simple phrases which I probably could manage myself but I need to be sure as don´t want to make a bad impression. Thank you very much everyone in advance.

Merhaba, .... orada mý lütfen?

May I speak to...

.... ile konuþabilir miyim?

When is the best time to call him?

Ne zaman onu arayabilirim? En iyi arama zamaný nedir? (I´m not 100% sure about this one though)

Sorry to disturb you.

Rahatsiz ettiðim için özür dilerim.

I am his girlfriend. I love Turkish culture very much.

Ben onun kýzarkadaþým. Türk kültürünü çok seviyorum.

I hope to meet you someday, and I hope you are having a lovely time with him. He was so excited to see you again.

Bir gün seninle görüþeceðimi umuyorum ve onunla iyi vakit geçirdiðini umuyorum. Tekrar seni görmek için çok heyecanlýydý.

Please could you repeat that?

Lütfen, onu tekrar edebilir misin(iz)?

I wish you a nice afternoon/evening.´

Ýyi akþamlar.

Here´s a few quick ones from me. Wait for corrections though, I´m a learner as well.

When is the best time to call him?

Ne zaman onu arayabilirim?

just a little correction: putting objective pronoun (onu) in the beginning of the sentence sounds nicer. (Onu ne zaman arayabilirim)

I am his girlfriend.

Ben onun kýzarkadaþým.

Ben .........................im

Ben (onun kýzarkadaþý)ým

Ben onun kýzarkadaþýyým

He was so excited to see you again.

Tekrar seni görmek için çok heyecanlýydý.

This is open the debate, but to me it is more proper to use göreceði...and objective pronoun (seni) should be put in the beginning of the sentence :

Seni tekrar görmek/göreceði için çok heyecanlýydý.

I wish you a nice afternoon/evening.´

Ýyi akþamlar.

or size iyi akþamlar diliyorum.

Just a quick question, I was wondering about that "best time to" expression.

I thought maybe "en iyi arama zamaný" would be ok for "the best calling time", but I have a feeling that wasn´t correct.

What would be a good expression for "the best time to do something"?

Thanks

"En iyi arama zamaný" sounds like a guinness record or an Academy Award announcement

I think the best expression would be "aramak için en uygun zaman" or "aramak için en iyi zaman".
