The cow ate the apple.

Yedi elma ýneki

Inek elmayý yedi.

The order of words in a Turkish sentence is: SOV -

subject (cow) - object (what she ate) - verb (what she did)

you need to add suffix -(y)i on elma because it is a direct object of yetmek (y is the buffer letter)

Her cat jumped

Kedisi sýçramadý

Kedisi sýçradý.

You add the suffix to the verb stem

for sýçramak - the verb stem is sýçra and -mak is the suffix that makes it an infinitive

the way you have it it means Her cat didn´t jump. There´s a suffix -me/-ma that negates the verb

sýçra-mak - to jump

sýçra-dý - jmped

sýçra-ma-dý - didn´t jump

Bob walked through the door

içinden kapý Bob yürüdü - vowel harmony

Bob kapýndan girdi/geçti/çikti (I think those would be better used here, but not 100% sure, a native can clarify perhaps)

The boy was happy

Mutludu erkeki

Erkek mutluydu

Subject - (no object here) - verb

She is sleeping in her bed

Yataksý O uyuyori

O yatakta uyuyor

subject-object-verb

yatak + da = yatakta - in the bed

if you want to say in her bed: yatak+ý=yataðý

yataðý+da= yataðýnda (n is a buffer letter here)
