Apart from Spanish, I speak English and a little bit of French.

Ýspanyolca´dan baþka, Ýngilizce ve biraz Fransýzca konuþuyorum.

I´m particularly intrested if the use of -dan baþka to express "apart from" is correct in this sentence. Are there any other, perhaps better ways, to say "apart from"?

Thank you.

Ýspanyolca´dan baþka, Ýngilizce ve biraz Fransýzca konuþuyorum.  -dan baþka suits well in this sentence and in my opinion is the correct translation of apart from.

but as an alternative you can use haricinde (other than)

Ýspanyolca´nýn haricinde Ýngilizce ve biraz Fransýzca konuþuyorum.

IMHO, it is grammatically correct, but I sense that isn´t what you are asking.Cool  You mean would a Turkish person really say it that way. (I didn´t see toggles response, which is helpful, as usual)

Translation of "Apart from Spanish"

Ýspanyolca´dan baþka is correct.

Similar meanings were wrote below. I think there is no need for correction. I think you can add "da" to "biraz". "biraz da Fransýzca konuþuyorum" is better for complete meaning of the sentence. Because expressing the ideas are not same in two languages. Word for word translation doesnt work sometimes.

My suggestions:

1-Ýspanyolca´nýn dýþýnda,

2-Ýspanyolca dýþýnda

3-Ýspanyolca´dan ayrý olarak

4-Ýspanyolca haricinde...

(Note I´m good at Turkish and I can add other suggestion. My last suggestion is "please dont change "-dan baþka", it is enough but if you would like to say it in my way correct it as "biraz da Fransýzca konuþuyorum.
