´kavuþmak´ is one of those Turkish verbs that cannot be directly translated into English. It´s basic meaning is something like to get back together with something or somebody you had been separated from and you had been missing. Hence the saying ´Allah kavuþtursun´ (may God get you back together) when a loved one goes away. 

The sentence you posted is I´m guessing, about someone´s conversion into Ýslam and probably kavuþmak is used to give the sentence a more emotional tone...

It basically means something like ´How did you get to join our Ýslam?´
