Was mine wrong?

it was not wrong.. but we generally dont start to write a card (or probably a text message here) by saying "baba ve anne/father and mother".. it was not wrong, but it was like some intimacy was missing..

the same with the word "kutsal".. we use "mübarek" instead..

That´s kind of interesting, I googled "kutsal Ramazan ayý" to see if that was a good phrase and got 120,000 hits. I guess some people do use it.

i didnt say it was wrong.. but you use it when you are writing an article.. or on tv.. or in a paper.. even with those people you dont know well.. but not very often with someone you call "dad and mum".. i was just saying that..

Now what was wrong with:

Sizi seviyorum ve her zamanki gibi sizi özledim.

She said "as always" not "always". I think your translation says "always", doesn´t it?

yes it is also used commonly, but in a daily conversation most people would say mübarek instead

anyway, there is nothing wrong with saying "kutsal ramazan ayý", but it sounds to me like I read it in newspaper or hear from tv...
