I know what an eclipse is - I am saying that I have never heard the Turkish word gökb - can a ´b´ follow a ´k´ in Turkish?  I wondered if you had mistyped it.

Because there is no word as ´gökb´. Eclipse means tutulma. We say güneþ tutulmasý for solar eclipse, and ay tutulmasý for lunar eclipse.
