Kusura bakmazsan bir þey diyeceðim. Bu resimde ayný ona benziyorsun.  O iyi bir sporcuydu ve buralarda çok sevilir.

If you don´t mind (?) I will tell you something.  In this picture you resemble him/her.  He/she was a sportsman and well loved in these parts.

My attempt

Gulbil - I will agree with what Melike1 and Insallah have been saying here - why are you adding something an hour after my translation that says the almost identical thing?  How is yours different to mine except that I´m a native English speaker???  We don´t say ´sportgirl´ in English and ´well-loved´ is the usual expression.  ´In these parts´ is exactly the same meaning as ´around here´.

(ok - I admit I had a ? against ´if you don´t mind´ and you confirmed it was right)
