Hi im ally

Im new to learning Turkish aswell and am struggling to put sentences together too.... turçe çok zor lol

Just wondering is saying ´sonra görüþürüz´ the same as saying ´göruþmek üzere´, is  ´göruþmek üzere´ the more formal way of saying it? as i was always saying the first one when i was in Turkey Big smile

´göruþmek üzere´ is a formal way of replacement to saying  ´görüþürüz´.        I haven´t heard or read "sonra görüþürüz" although it make perfect sense literally/  "later we will generally meet".  I hope a native speaker will comment on the "sonra" with " görüþürüz".

while the two seems to be  interchangeably used in daily Turkish.

gorusuruz , is almost equivalent to "so long"

sonra gorusuruz , is more like "see you later" and it may also mean "we will discuss this matter later"  in a mildly threatening manner.

Thank you so much for clearing that up, i do hope i didnt spend a month in Turkey being ´mildly threatening´ to people lol<img src='/static/images/smileys//lol.gif' alt='lol'>. I think ill stick to using göruþmek üzere from now on, just to be on the safe side! thanks to you both Uzun have and AlphaF
