Kenan: the name dictionaries disagree. Some say the country of Jacob (Yakup) which is Canaan. Others say the son of Noah.

Kenan: the name dictionaries disagree. Some say the country of Jacob (Yakup) which is Canaan. Others say the son of Noah.
Yes, commonly it means the country of Yakub. ==> Kenan Ãli or Kenan Ülkesi
Also known as "Promised Lands" ==> vadedilmiþ topraklar
But i haven´t heard anything about that Noah (Nuh)´s son.
