yes. it must be a lie.
1000 women is not possible. in order to get this number, he had to sleep with at least 2 women per month during his life (starting from his childhood)

Well, sleeping with 2 even more each month is still possible.  If you're a seductive, "rich" man, you can just hang around the bars and pick one.No real romantic relationship. Just, you have to be a bit stone-hearted and animal instincted. And I think after a certain number, you just want to break your record. Obsession.
I know Julio Iglesias is another casanova, I remember his declaring proudly the number of women he had slept with, I don't know it exactly but it was something about 3000. Yes, true!! I hope Enrique isn't like him.
