Turkishdictionary.net also lists "cucumber" as a meaning of "hýyar".   It sounds a little more sensible to be ing.

"pass over the bridge there is a cucmber(s) farm there."

cucumber is slang here, hiyar (cucumber) is the owner of farm or field.

If it was just "hýyar tarlasý", then "cucumber" would be correct translation
