Çok teþekkür ederim, ikicihan,,, Angel Sen çok iyisin! Benim arkadaþým sanada teþekkürler söyledin.

(Please excuse any mistakes in my grammar, I´m still quite the beginner!)

Can anyone translate the little sentences above the two paragraphs?

Thanks in advance.

Quoting hisaskim

just curious but why is it hard to go to the UK now?

 Are you kidding me?

Just go to the British Consultate and ask them requirements for a visa - then you may begin to understand why its hard to go to the UK

(Unfortunately the reason for the UK strictness is because so many people STAY after getting a temporary tourist visa)

Believe me it´s a nightmare, and so stressful! It´s been 18 months since my husband got his visa, and we´re still waiting to get all our original documents back that we handed in. Important ones like his Army discharge papers! Neither Worldbridge nor the Consulate in Istanbul seem to take any responsibility for losing them. Also the prices they charge are outrageous! If they say no, you don´t get that money back, we worked so hard, well more him than me, but it was so stressful. Then once here there´s more visas to apply for, then the Life in the Uk test! It´s never ending,,,,,,,,,,

As a British Citizen I can enter Turkey and just pay £10 for a 3 month visitors visa, it´s so unfair. I feel sorry for you all I really do. There are plenty of genuine Turkish people who want to come to the UK for normal reasons like a holiday, or to visit family, but the protocol and paperwork makes it so hard for the normal individual. Head bang
