ya sen kuzen

ým deýlsýn ben o sandým kapa sunu kýmsýn sen ya alla alla

my try if this is the text: ya sen kuzen?

iyi mi deðilsin? ben o sandým. kapat þunu! kimsin sen? ya Allah Allah

and you cousin? you´re alright, aren´t you? I thought so. put that down/close that! who are you? oh, mine mine!

Is this like part of a phone conversation or what?   were you eavesdropping or somehting?

I think it should be ´ya sen kuzenim deðilsin, ben o sandým, kapa sunu, kimsin sen ya, allah allah´

and my translation attempt is:

´and you are not my cousin, I believe that, close this, who are you eh, good heavens!´

You´re absolutely right lady in red, only the "o sandým" part sounds more like "I thought so" or "I thought it was him"  to me. It is a past tense form so it cannot be translated as "I believe".

I was blind not to see that    -im was a suffix for kuzen, got me there!

What about: anladým = I understand, geldim = I am coming, just to name a couple of cases.  I think ´sandým´ is the same and can be translated as present or past tense.  And ´o´ can be ´that´ as well as ´he/she/it´.  So I suppose this is one of those ambiguous translations!

The source text is undoubtedly ambiguous, I guess a native speaker could clear this one out!
