can "Ben geliyorum" be used if someone is calling you and you respond to say you are coming? and could it also be used if someone for example asked you would you be attending the party and you reply with this?

also, how would you say " I am leaving/going" is it "Ben Gediyorum?"

Thank you

Well I am quite sure you may respond "Geliyorum" to someone who is calling you over and "Gidiyorum", to say "I am leaving/I am going".

gidiyorum is i´m going...but i think just "geliyorum" is enough...without "ben"...coz i have heard it used that way in turkey...somebody is calling and the other says just - geliyorum...

We often omit personal pronouns. But there are cases that we have to use them.

A- partiye geliyor musun?

B- geliyorum (no need to use ben here)

A- kimler partiye geliyor?

B- ben geliyorum (you have to use ben here)

C- ben de geliyorum

D- ben gelmiyorum

yeah that makes sense...just - turkiye59-s question was about how to reply when somebody is calling you to come...and in that case - just "geliyorum" should be enough...?
