what does bana simdi anladin umarim mean in turkey

but im not sure because I thought anlamak took i and not a

 simdi kafam karisiyor

it should have been "beni" , which means "me" in English.

So what Deli says sounds grammatically correct in the past tense.,

"I hope you understood me now"
