this song helped me with pronounciation as its quite slow and catchy...i hope the english translation is correct, let me know if it isn´t lol

the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emEE_halVI4

the lyrics:

HADISE-ASKKOLIK

Aşkın özü sözü bir olmaz mı?
-isn´t love the one and the same in words an attitudes?
Sana verilen her şey hep az mı?-is everything given to you always less?
Havai gönlüm akıllanmaz-my fly heart doesn´t become wiser
Bizdeki tavuk komşuda kaz mı?-is grass always greener on the other side?

İçimi çıtır çıtır yedin bitirdin-you ate me up inside
Kıpırtıları tek tek yitirdin-you lost all moves one by one
Benim etim ne ki budum ne olsun-my power is limited(another idiom)
Aşk oyununda kötü ütüldüm-i lost so badly in the game of love

Ah herkez senin olsun-ah everyone is yours
O aşk gözün doysun-love so you can get enough

Sen aşkkolik aşkkolik aşkkoliksin -you are love addict love addict
Hem egoist mazoist hem erotiksin -also selfish, not only masochist but also erotic
Hım yesinler sevsinler amma -let everyone love you, foolish you
Sen sersefil ve hepten bitiksin -you are totally miserable and exhausted

Aklım gide gele yorulmaz mı? -doesn´t my mind get tired of going and coming?
Şu eziyetin ömrüne farz mı? -is this torture of you a need for your life?
Zavallı ruhum niye hiç duymaz -why does my poor soul never hear?
Ellerin ki söz bizim ki caz mı? -are words of strangers more valuable than mine?

Canımı çekip çekip geri getirdin -you brought my life back pulling
Kırıntıları tek tek götürdün -you brougt all the pieces away one by one
Ettiğin ne ki bulduğun olsun -what goes around comes around
Aşk oyununda beni yitirdin -you lost me in the game of love

Ah herkez senin olsun -ah everyone is yours
O aşk gözün doysun -love so you can get enough

Sen aşkkolik aşkkolik aşkkoliksin -you are love addict love addict
Hem egoist mazoist hem erotiksin -also selfish, not only masochist but also erotic
Hım yesinler sevsinler amma -let everyone love you, foolish you
Sen sersefil ve hepten bitiksin -you are totally miserable and exhausted

That didn´t really represent Turkey though And what she did on Eurovision, wouldn´t really call that singing either

And I don´t get the double K? There is not K (or c for that matter) in alcoholic or shopaholic, or in the turkish alkolik.

Oh well, she is at least a motivation for learners, her turkish pronounciation sucked before she got famous. She seems to have worked on that in quite a short time!
