Maybe it was gezdim ?

Gözdim isnt İ was an eye, that would be gözdüm

The clue is in the heading.

My favourite.

Jenny had seen ´gözde´ and tried to add a personal suffix for ´my´ thus gözdim

My favourite is en sevdiğim.
