What dictionary or dicitonaries would you recommend for a traveller who is a beginner in Turkish? It should be small and easy to carry, but have as many words as possible, in both directions (English-Turkish and Turkish-English). I would hope it would also have verb conjugations and various points of grammar.  TeŞekkür ederim for your suggestions!Smile

I started travelling with Berlitz Turkish Phrase book and Dictionary. It covers lots of situations and is great for building your vocabulary.

Now I take a small pocket dictionary and my Teach Yourself Turkish grammar book.
