Hi I have been trying to learn Turkish for about 2 years and even with a tutor I still cant get the R´s correct.....

I think that this takes along time to learn and also it helps it you can hear someone who is turkish speak the same word.

I have also trouble with the ´R harfi´ , I dont think İ will ever learn.

But accept that hopefully one day I´ll know fluently Turkish too.

Unfortunately there is no course here in Alanya for me at the moment, otherwise

İ would have gone. Now I have to learn more from books and watching television, it

also helps, but more slowly.

my idea is that you need more studies about turkish grammar and then to talk with a turksh native and force him to speak in turkish; then you will be able to copy his talking and you will think in turkish not in your mother languages..but this...needs time...and patience...

Thank you for your advice but I don´t need that kind of cdroms because İ live in Turkey with my turkish family in law so I hear Turkish around me all day Wink I just can´t say that R besides that my Turkish is pretty good already.

I just read my other text back and I understand now why you thought I am just beginning, my mistake.

I was meaning in the city İ live isn´t a high level course now which I need. I planned to go to Tömer üniversitesi but they only have beginner level right now.
