I have been trying to learn the personal pronouns and how to use them, so i made up some examples to help me....could someone take a look and correct them for me please:

good = iyi
i am good -- iyiyim
you are good -- iyisin
he/she/it is good -- iyi
we are good -- iyiyiz
you are good -- iyisiniz
they are good -- iyiler

hot = sıcak
i am hot -- sıcağım
you are hot -- sıcaksın
he/she/it hot -- sıcak
we are hot -- sıcağız
you are hot -- sıcaksınız
they are hot -- sıcaklar

swim = yüz
swimming = yüzüyor
i am swimming -- yüzüyorum
you are swimming -- yüzüyorsun
he/she/it is swimming -- yüzüyor
we are swimming -- yüzüyoruz
you are swimming -- yüzüyorsunuz
they are swimming -- yüzüyorlar

My thoughts as a ´intermediate´ learner

good = iyi 
I am good -- iyiyim
you are good -- iyisin
he/she/it is good --  o iyi (otherwise it just means good)
we are good -- iyiyiz
you are good -- iyisiniz
they are good -- iyiler or onlar iyi

hot = sıcak
i am hot -- sıcağım
you are hot -- sıcaksın
he/she/it hot -- o sıcak
we are hot -- sıcağız
you are hot -- sıcaksınız
they are hot -- sıcaklar or onlar sıcak

swim! = yüz! (this is the imperative or command form)

yüzmek = to swim

also yüz means face, and also 100  (one hundred)
swimming = yüzüyor 
I am swimming -- yüzüyorum
you are swimming -- yüzüyorsun
he/she/it is swimming -- o yüzüyor
we are swimming -- yüzüyoruz
you are swimming -- yüzüyorsunuz
they are swimming -- yüzüyorlar or onlar yüzüyor

The ´o´ needs to be added unless you can tell from previous sentences or words what is going on.

Adam ne yapıyor? (What is the man doing?)

Yüzüyor. (He is) swimming.

Maybe a native Turk can help whether yüzüyorlar or onlar yüzüyor is more commonly used.

swimming = yüzme

if swimming is used as noun, it means yüzme, the noun form of yüzmek (to swim).

i thought swim=yüz because doesnt adding -me/-ma to words make them negative? Dont swim=yüzme ?

İts all about the stress:

yüzME = swiming

YÜZme= dont swim

ko-nuş-MA= conversation

ko-NUŞ-ma= dont talk

İn negative forms of verbs, you stress the syllabe in front of the -me ending.

to swim = yüzmek   (verb)

swimming = yüzme (noun) (-me makes it noun)

"i will go for swimming this weekend" = bu hafta sonu yüzmeye gideceğim

don´t swim = yüzme! (negative sentence) (-me makes it negative)

"it is rainy, don´t swim today" = yağmur yağıyor, bugün yüzme

 ...= yağmur yağıyor.....

  ahhhhh, my mind is full these days
