hehe.. i think that my level of english is better than most people my age although i dont know how i would teach it to speakers of other languages.
for eg. my bf has just finished his first level english course and he is saying to me "look.. if a word ends in -ly or whatever we add this and that" and i was like "i didnt know that! i never had to learn it!!"
its the same with turkish though.. like, i know that if a verb stem is one syllable and ends with -l or -r it follows with -ir.. eg: kal-ır-ım... and my bf didnt know that hehe
i dont know where i would learn all of this from to teach to others!! :S

That's what teacher-trainings are for, kızım
I don't know those about Dutch either, though i know them basically in English, as i was taught them to understand the English words from Dutch.

But because you are studying Turkish, you can see the structure of the language much clearer than a native speaker who didn't take the time (and why would one?) to see the structure of his own language.

If you know words with -ly- in Turkish and understand how they are formed in Turkish, you can also explain it from Turkish back to English, isntead of explaining it plain in English.

A sort of unviersity programme (but not as difficult as Oxford ), that doesn't only teaches the language, but also teaching-skills. How to explain certain things, i also think psychological things about people, as a teacher will be working in a group.

I don't know what TESOL is, but i think that only TESOL should be enough and that you only have to go to uni for that if you dont have TESOL
