- Man, yenge does not get it right?

- It is so allegoric, hard to understand.

- You are the man, bro.

Yenge is used for many situations.

Yenge is the wife of someone´s uncle or brother. But informally, she is also the wife or the girlfriend of yours and the others call her yenge.

Ok, I will try to explain it.

Yenge means: sister-in-law, aunt-in-law or friend´s wife.

For example you are married to a turkish man and he has brothers, then you become the yenge from the brothers, eventhough they might call you yenge allready before marrying.

You are their sister-in-law.

Also your husbands friends will call you yenge. They are like abi/kardeş for each other (brothers) so you are like their sister-in-law.

Your husband´s uncle´s wife is also yenge for your husband and you.

Hope you understand it better now.
