I am just starting learning (one week), but seeing how the turkish grammer/ sentence structure is very different. I was wondering if the there is a translation software or website that also translates each word on its own. so you can see how the turkish language breaksdown?

I think it would help to see how the sentence has been moved aournd in the english. And then you can start to think in that way.

i hope i am making some sort of sense here

example:

Evimde televizyon yok.

in my house a television does not exists. (rough translation)

there isn´t a television in my house.

cheers for any help or advice

It´s difficult to translate Turkish word for word because words change so much because of suffixes added to them especially verbs.

eg. gelmek means to come and you would find this in the dictionary but you wouldn´t find geliyorum (I am coming) or geleceğim (I will come).

All I can say is that in the normal order of things the verb will come last but word order, although prescribed, is flexible.

Good luck.
