My try:

Brown has written the scientific novels. If somebody doesn´t have any history, physics, chemistry and literature knowledges, he/she doesn´t understand Dan Brown´s novels.

  I read only DaVinci Code but to understand it you must have only knowledge about religion and the history of religion. So I could read it without needing fizics or chemestry.

I have only read no´s 2, 3 and 4.  Anyone know if The Lost Symbol is any good? I´m dying to read it!

Deception point was not as good as the others, Angels and Demons was my favourite

If someone doesn´t have any knowledge of history, physics, chemistry and literature, they won´t be able to understand Dan Brown´s novels.

So, according to you, Yilgun, we have to be ´intellectuals´ to enjoy this particular popular fiction (sorry ´fact-based´ fiction)?  I have only read ´DaVinci Code´ and apparently I´m the only person in the world who thought it was an ok read but nothing more!  Haven´t read the others but started to watch ´Angels and Demons´ on DVD and fell asleep in the middle.  Clearly I am no intellectual.
