My attempt:

Türkçe öğrenmeye çalışıyorum.

çalışmak

1. to work.
2. /a/ to study.
3. /a/ to try or strive (to do something).
4. (for a machine) to operate, run, work, go. çalışıp çabalamak to try hard, do all one can.

Quoting Mysty

Thanks Reyhan What does "meye" the suffix to öğrenmeye.

Türkçe öğren + me + y + e çalışıyorum.

-me suffix gives meaning of "...-ing (action)"

öğrenme: learning (action)

çalışma: studying.

Çalışmak is also used to say "to try" as Reyhan said.

Çalışmaya çalışıyorum: I´m trying to study (used by students a lot)

Underlined "e" is dative form suffix here.

Note:

Some sources say that this structure comes from -mek/-mak suffixes.

Türkçe öğrenmeğe çalışıyorum.

And by the time, ğ turned into y.

I´m not sure actually. Maybe an expert may help better.

thx

Those sources tell the truth:

k=>ğ =>y

-meke  => -meğe =>-meye

öğren- (verb stem) => learn

-mek  (suffix to make nouns from verbs) => -ing

-e  (dative suffix) => for

öğrenmeye => for learning => to learn

öğrenmeye çalışıyorum => I am trying to learn
