fark etmez demek olasa olur demek kötü kelime

to say it doesn´t matter if it is to say a bad word

I think my friend mis-understood me. I was trying to say "it doesn´t matter" and used the phrase fark etmez. But I think he felt it meant something else.

Can anyone explain for me please.

a letter is missing

so the translation is:

"it doesn´t matter (fark etmez) means it is ok also without it, (so) it is a bad word.

so it is not a bad word but probably for him/her it matters so he is annoyed by you saying "it doesn´t matter"
