Dear (whatever I would respectfully call an old aunt) I just wanted to say what an honour it was meeting you. You have a heart of gold and I hope that one day I will be able to take you up on your offer and visit your beautiful home. Take care, I hope that you can come again. Lots of love Anza and Nikita"""".

"Sevgili X Teyze" or more formal "Sevgili X hanım".

Kendine iyi bak. Umarım tekrar gelirsin. Kucak dolusu sevgiler.

Opps. Im sorry Gokuyum. I havent seen your post.

Yours are better than mine. I have a question what does it mean take you up on your offer? I thought "take you up" as " seni almak" and "on your offer" as "isteğin üzerine". Thanks in advance.

´take you up on your offer´ means ´I accept (what you offered to do for me) ´

(In this case they invited the poster to their home for a visit)

In this case ´take you up on your offer´ means ´accept your invitation´ here.  The aunt has invited them to visit her home.

This expression can be used in other ways, for example:

a) ´You told me once that you would look after the children if we wanted to go on holiday without them´

b) ´yes I did´

a) ´Well, we have been invited to go to Istanbul and we can´t take the children, so I would like to take you up on your offer (to look after them)´

´take you up on´ can be translated as ´accept´

Hope this helps - I´m good at grammar but not too great at explaining it!

{#emotions_dlg.head_bang}  too slow again - I blame the lousy Turkish internet connection!
