Doğru bir söz ama acizlikten öte şeriflik(?) varmış kanında; ne eylersin salla gitsin, takma kafaya şapkadan başka bir şey.
It is a true word but beyond impotence there had been a dishonour in her/his blood. What could you do? Don´t mind it, don´t put anything on your head instead of a hat.
Note 1: şeriflik means shrievalty. But it doesn´t make sense in this context. I think it is şeref-siz-lik means dishonour. It makes sense.
Note 2: "Takma kafaya şapkadan başka bir şey" It is slang and also there is a wordplay in this sentence only makes sence in Turkish.Shortly it means nevermind, don´t mind it"
