 It makes no sense (at least to me) deliciğim Where did you see this sentence? What are the words before and after that? 

Vague for me too, you will have to know the context probably. Something along the lines: "Where did this(thing or topic etc.) come up, except it´s connotation of affection" (? lol terrible probably)

Seems a bit cheeky of me when 2 Turkish have said it makes no sense, but is it:

´where did this come from, apart from the interesting content?´

Not cheeky but courageous enough to oppose "2 Turkish" Anyway, I am kidding. The sentence has two parts and each part make sense, but the whole does not.

By the way, "İlgi anlamı" means "interest meaning", "meaning of interest" or "point of interest" or something like that.

Maybe it is a typo?

if the second bit were ilgi alanım dışında it would make more sense:

literal: outside of my scope of interest

free: I am not interested in that subject

yeap marion I think you hit the nail on the head

 So what? Is it "ilgi alanımın dışında"?

If so it is not one sentence but two: Nereden çıktı bu? İlgi alanımın dışında.

I told someone to go look at the pretty ladies and that was his reply

 OH! Silly him! pretty ladies..mmm..I am so much interested in that subject!   but the thing is that the subject is not interested in me.
