Hickory dickory  dock

the mouse ran up the clock

the clock struck one

the mouse ran down

hickory dickory dock

I think this is very difficult/almost impossible to translate properly into Turkish.  The words ´hickory dickory dock´ are totally meaningless in English. I thought I´d have a go though.

Hickory dickory dock - *+(no meaning)

The mouse ran up the clock - Fareyi saatı koşarak tırmandı

The clock struck one - Saatı bir çaldı

The mouse ran down - Fareyi koşarak alçaldı

Hickory dickory dock - (no meaning)

Hickory dickory dock needs to be translated by some nonsense Turkish words that fit the rhythm of the rhyme.

I know what it is - I just said that you can´t translate the words ´hickory´, ´dickory´ and ´dock´ into Turkish [well - there is a Turkish word for ´hickory´ - ´karya´, and one for ´dock´ - (maybe ´iskele´ ) but they have nothing to do with these words! ]
