Hi all,

My Fiance (a Turkish woman) was refused re-entry to the UK yesterday, and as I write this she is on a plane back to Turkey. We´ll try appeals etc. but I think ultimately we will have to speed up our plans to marry (We were talking about one year - but maybe sooner now). We had planned to settle in Turkey after maybe a year, but I´m inclined now to pack up and move as soon as is reasonably possible. Mydisillusionment with the UK has known no greater bounds.

I have a medical condition (diabetes treated with an insulin pump - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insulin_pump).

So my primary concern at the moment is how to best maintain my treatment after the move. Can anyone offer any advice?

Steve

It depends on where you want to move to. Ask your fiancé to contact the local hospital, and ask them if they have the necessary supplies. If you live in a city, you won´t have any problems. If you plan on living in some rural farm area, you might have to arrange a bit more.

Perhaps you can email some info to your fiancé, like the name of the system you are using now, your medicine, and other important medical information. She can take this to the hospital or the doctor, and they can tell you if they have enough resources to keep you up and runnig!
