I just took a test form a site that someone posted on here a while back, this site: http://www.turkishlanguagecenter.com/languageschool/Turkish_test.html I didn´t do too badly at all, shockingly enough! A few silly mistakes, but I just needed clarification on 2 answers that came up wrong

This one: Bak! Semiha orada.

      O sokağa ....
      The correct answer is: cikmiş

>>> I´ve never heard of this word and no dictionary searches are giving me anything for cik! would I be right in thinking, now, that this should actually be spelt  ´çıkmış?

This is the question as it was asked:

Bak! Semiha orada.
O sokağa ....
  cikmiş
  atmiş
  görmüş

And this one: Sen hergün spor yapıyor musun?

      Evet, ben hergün spor ....
      The correct answer is: yapıyor

>>> I gave me answer as ´yapıyorum´. I was right, wasn´t I? {#emotions_dlg.unsure} ben and -im -ım -üm and -um do go together? I mean, that was one lesson I thought I had in the bag months ago!

Looks like there are some errors.

Number 23 has yabıiyorum as an answer when it should be yapıyorum

31 looks wrong as well.

Thank you, I thought I was going mad!! with 23 and 31 I choose the nearest thing to the correct answer I could find. With 31 it should be sınıftayız instead of sınıfdayız, yea?

Ally - For a moment, forget about Turkish tenses, verb conjugations and all those bloody suffixes and imagine an example, where you have in the context of place (´there/orada´ only a person (o/he). Considering the verb options ´çikmak(go out), atmak (throw) and görmek(see)´, what would you think which one should go there? They must have supposed that all Turkish learners are kids.

According to the test questions, they seem to need some Turkish lessons. {#emotions_dlg.satisfied_nod}

Yeah you would be right. Just FYI if you were searching in a dictionary you´d probably want look for "cıkmak" or "çıkmak" as most of the time verbs are listed in their infinitive form. But I think you could search and search and never find the word "cıkmak" so it´s a moot point. Cool

Yes. You are right. And it should be her gün not hergün.

Seems like if the person sat their own test they might have failed!!!
