It surprises me that someone who, apparently can read and write, ommits to include a "unit" after the figure, when talking about money.

this is mainly because there is no competition in some of these countries from domestic social networking sites.
Yes, that should explain to us why Russian is not there.

Exactly! Russia has several extremely developed social networking sites. And from my experience, very aggressive: when you register once, it is almost impossible to quit, unless you delete your e-mail account

It´s really interesting for me to see this because when I was in Turkey for study abroad during college, I noticed that Facebook was extremely popular among the students (moreso than I had expected). This is confirmation of what I saw!

In Türkiye, internet is now cheap and fast and there are about 40 millions of internet users in country; digital cables coming by under-sea and special price offers...
Internet in Türkiye is faster and more qualified than a lot of European countries.
