I think you may have misread, it was yenmek not yemek. 
...and by the way, I would say you definitely deserved to be on Yilgun´s list

It gets even worse, tomac, if you add two suffices to yemek you get:
yenilmek: to be beaten
not to be confused with yenilemek: to be renewed or repeated
And then we are supposed to translate some bad grammar text from a boyfriend and guess which one of the four he meant!
