İlhan qualifes for Wimbledon

Turkish tennis player Marsel İlhan, qualified for playing in the Wimbledon Tennis tournament, which is due to start on 21 June Monday. This is the first time a Turkish player will play in Wimbledon.

Oh what a shame! - Still, he did very well to qualify and hopefully he will make it further next year.
Edit: I just realised ´what a shame´ could be misunderstood as I know a foreign friend of mine didn´t ´get´ the English meaning. So to avoid this, for those who don´t know, we say ´what a shame´ to mean ´how sad/what bad luck´. It is not used in the sense of ´utanç or ayıp in this way.
