I think the speculation as to why Trudy has decided to leave the site has gone far enough (joking or not!).  She has made a decision and that ought to be respected.  She was a stalwart member of this site and a considerable contributor. 

I agree with libralady. Let´s be more respectful... 

I really don´t think she´s that bothered what people think - and personally I prefer it if people just go if they are going and don´t treat us to a long diatribe about why they feel the need to go (especially since they mostly come back anyway!) - and I´m sure that´s how Trudy felt too.

Without them who would read your columns and participate in the forum?

 They could read the Taraf instead if they were so inclined. 

Beg your pardon, but how would YOU know what is written in Taraf?

I guess "poison" sounds strong, but that´s the word used in the idiom I used.  It´s not meant in a harmful way at all.  The "poison" I referred to was a thread that some may not find interesting ... simple.
