I used to want to live on my own on an island in the middle of the sea. I hated living like I was married without being married.

ŞU ANDA SADE VE YALNIZLIK SİTRESTEN UZAK KAFA,DAĞITMAK EN GÜZELŞEY

(Don´t understand this bit)

Now I don´t have to account to anyone.

My try-but wait for clevers.

Not a clever! - but is ´sıtres´ supposed to be ´stres´?  - so ´far from stress´

I used to want would like to live on my own on an island in the middle of the sea.

I hated living like I was married without being married.

At the moment best thing is to let everything go*, simple and alone, far from stress

Now I don´t have to account to anyone.

My try-but wait for clevers.

LIR is right about stress thing

and the sentence you could not translate is difficult to translate because also Turkish sentence is not good

*I am not sure if you say like that

I thought ´isterim´ was ´I would like´

I thought 3rd person present tense ´ister´ + past tense ´dim´ =used to like.

It could be "I used to want", you are right, but here it definitely doesn´t mean like that

also if you say "i would like to have a cup of coffee", then it could be "bir fincan kahve istiyorum" (note that "isterim" is not really used).

"isterdim" is more like that when you are talking about a dream or wish actually.

I am so bad at explaining tonight, I hope someone makes it more clear for you. OR I do it later

Maybe a better translation could be "I wish.."
