 1. I think it is wrong. It should be like that; Merdiven nerede? Oturma odasında

 2. This one is wrong too [I think]. It should be like that: Evdeki or Evindeki

-deki/-daki = who/that is on/in

example; Gizem´in Odasındaki çanta = The bag that is in Gizem´s room

İ made a "mot-a-mot" translation because of "-deki" ending.

OK - but it doesn´t sound right in English and I was taught that the ´ki´ ending here turns a noun into an adjective as in - for example ´oteldeki bar´ = the in-the-bar hotel (the bar in the hotel) or ´köşedeki masa´ = the in-the-corner table (the table in the corner).

And you can leave off the following noun and just go with ´oteldeki/köşedeki´ - the one in the hotel/the one in the corner and so I naturally went with ´what´s in the sink?´ or could be ´what are those in the sink?´  I never heard of the ´deki´ ending meaning ´from´ - but then I don´t know everything

eviyedekiler = those (which are) in the sink

-ki suffix usually follows -de (locative case) and -(n)in (genitive case) suffixes.
