You just need to join some of those words together and ´içmek´ becomes short infinitve ´içmeye´

Does she mean ´can you´ as in ´are you physically able to´ OR ´would you´ as a request and would the translations be different?

I was going to ask her that actually - but I was being lazy and so didn´t bother!

I definately meant ´can you´ -  I am currently workıng on questıons.  Thanks for your help everyone.
