 "bakim" is short version of "bakayım" which in this type of sentence means: (come on) tell me / show me (depending on if it is something you can tell or show).

Whats the difference between "bakayım" and "bakıyım" ? Did i write wrong ?

I think the suffix ´ayım´ or ´eyim´ means ´let me .........´ after the verb stem.

So bakayım means ´let me see´

(don´t think bakıyım exists)

the right version is bakayım but it is pronounced as bakıyım, that´s why many people mis-spell it.
