You get your visa on arrival at the airport in Turkey. It is £10 for a UK citizen and they want it in English money so make sure you have a £10 note with you as they expect the exact amount! Don´t forget to join the Visa queue before joining the passport control queue. Have a great holiday!

Very good advice. I have often seen people queue for more than 30 minutes in the passport control area, only to be sent back to the visa section after they finally get to the control booth. Once the passport officer notices they haven´t a visa stamp in their passport they are sent away, and have to line up again. The visa section is right next to the passport control area.
Enjoy your trip!

Ah...why did you share the big secret? Normally I don´t have to queu for the visa, since everybody goes straight to the passport control and once I´m at the passport control the line is almost gone because most people understand by then that they have to get the visa first. I´m through passport control with my visa in an average of 5 to 10 minutes.
