BAHÇIVAN

O bir bahçıvandır
Gün ışıyınca budar yaşamları
Akşamları yalnızlığına gizlenir
Gökyüzündeki yıldızların çalgısını dinler
Yeni bir sabaha uyanınca
Marangoz olur düşlerini keser

Bir kulübe yapar kendine
Keçiler koyunlar atlar salar otlaklara
Bir kulübe daha yaptı mı sımsıcak
İkili yaşantısı başlar
Akşam dönüşü öyküleri yumak yumak olur
Vadiye iner seni duyar seni yaşar

Dağ, ova ve hayvanlar gökyüzüne karışır
Güzel bir şölen başlar şarkılarla
Mavi gök, sessiz göl, dost orman onu seyreder
Dans eder rüzgar, okşar yüzünü saçını,
Kuş olur ellerine konar bir demet sevgi
En güzel sofrasını hazırlar, yolunu gözler

A GARDENER

He is a gardener
When day shines he trims lives
At nights he hides in his loneliness
He listens to the music of the stars in the sky
When waking up to a new morning
He becomes a carpenter and cuts his dreams

He builds a hut for himself
He sends goats, sheep, horses to the pastures
When he makes another warm hut
His double life begins
When he comes back at night his stories become like a wool ball
He goes down to the valley, hears you, lives you

Mountains, plains and animals get mixed with the sky
A nice feast starts with the songs
The blue sky silent lake friendly forest watch him
The wind dances caresses his face and hair
Becomes a bird, perches upon his hands, becomes a bouquet of love
Prepares his best table
Watches his road
