When I translate from English into Turkish I try to respect the Turkish language by using Turkish characters when necessary even though it is a bit of a pain sometimes and requires more effort. I know that if I write ´i´ instead of ´ı´ some ´kind´ soul will be sure to correct me. However it seems the same rules don´t apply to others translating from Turkish into English.

´I´ when it stands alone as the personal pronoun is ALWAYS a capital letter ´I´ -never ´i´ .

I see some lovely translations but with ´i´ instead of ´I´ and it just makes me groan!

Surely if you are taking the time and trouble to be on this site an extra key stroke isn´t going to kill you!

Thank you!     {#emotions_dlg.bigsmile}
