 I`m a little confused with could and would ,in this sentence sarabilirdi does this not mean your strong arms could ,but this person is saying would soooooooooo would it be sarılırdı

I think Jooe86 actually has it better, if your trying to understand it in English I don´t think she is implying that She wants him to be by her side (along with another woman).   Maybe it would have been better to say "also, I wish you were by my side now..." instead?
