Merhabalar!

Can someone please tell me what "Hz." stands for? I know it is religious, but aside from that, I can´t find the full word anywhere.

Teşekkür ederim!

Hz. is short of "Hazreti" and  it´s meaning  (almost) respectable, precious person.

Agree. It is always used before the name of a prophet in Islam e.g. Hz. İsa (Jesus), Hz. Nuh (Noah), Hz Yunus (Jonah) etc

So you could also translate it into English as the Prophet Noah. It gives the same sort of idea as a religious title of respect
