Hi all, I´ve just wondered how following (bit tricky) sentence should be translated to Turkish (for curious, it is a quote from the game "Portal").

I don´t think you´re going where you think you´re going.

My attempt would be:

Gittiğin yer sandığın yere gitmeni sanmam.

Is it correct? Thanks for any help.

Thank you very much, joe86, but I think you misunderstood a bit the original sentence.

It is actually one sentence, not two. It has two parts:

1. I don´t think you´re going (somewhere).

2. (describes that "somewhere" from the first part) where you think you´re going.

In other words, part 2 means "the place where you think you are going", "the place where you want to go, and you think that now you are going there". And in the first part I say that "I doubt you are really going there" (to the place where you think you are going).

So the meaning of the whole sentence is something like "You think you are going to some place, but I doubt you are really going there" (I think that you are going in other direction than you want).
