My attempt: He/she does not ruin the fasting and also get angry at non-believers.

 .. non-Muslim.

 Agree. We usually use it for Christians. And it is a rude word.

Also there is "kafir". We use it for non-believers. It is an insult also.

 Fast shouldn´t be ruined by getting angry at a non-muslim.

It is Mevlana´s saying. It means you shouldn´t ruin your fast by getting angry at a non-muslim thinking why he doesn´t fast like me.

I could translate the sentence mod-a-mod but I want another idioms which can be similar to this idiom. I feel like It is kind of absurd when I translate it directly. I want a native one to understand it with no questions.

Maybe - ´Don´t cut off your nose to spite your face´??  Meaning -to do something (usually unkind/nasty) to someone else but end up causing yourself a problem.  Not exact but the closest I can think of.
