Quick recipies to impress your other half (of course, Turkish other half )

Mashed peppers (biber ezme)

10 peppers+2 cloves of garlic + yoghurt + olive oil

- Buy some Turkish peppers  about 10 of them..

- Get rid of their seeds and the stalks

- Roast them under the grill

- Smash the garlic first in the morter and then smash the pappers with them..(easy!! dont smash like there is not tomorrow!! leave some bits)

- Have some proper thick Turkish yogurt (Greek yogurt will do too. But not organic cheap yogurts with serious amount of water in it) and mix it with a bit of water..add some salt to your taste

- Mix all of them and then place into the serving dish..

- Drizzle some olive oil on the top..

Afiyet olsun

150-200 gr of yogurt should be enough.... It should be kind of thick paste..

We, Turks, normally (and naturally) will know how much yogurt to use and we call it ´göz karari´. But since you are  a foreigner, you use measuring!!

Well they are the same really.. Yogurt is Turkish invention but they call it Greek yogurt in Greece and in many EU countries... I guess it is just successful marketing..
