In Scotland, it is a juridical obligation to take someone in when he/she knocks your door and asks you to use your lavatory.

thanks

My attempt as a learner:

In Scotland when someone knocks on your door and says "somebody is wanting to use your toilet" it is a legal obligation to take them inside.

İskoçya´da kapınızı çalıp sizden “tuvaletinizi kullanmak isteyen birini” içeri almak hukuki bir zorunluluktur.

Wait for a native to confirm or correct Smile

Ahh too slow colouring in the words. Turkishcobra´s translation is obviously correct as a native speaker!

Can´t comment on the translation, but, speaking as a Scot, the statement is untrue.  We may have some strange laws but that is not one of them.  Hope this helps to avoid any embarrassment...

Thanks for confirming this isn´t true.

I would be surprised if any country in the world would make it obligatory to allow a stranger into your home to use your toilet. {#emotions_dlg.get_you}
